The Amarok Trendline 3.0TDI V6 4MOTION 204ps won over the hearts and minds of the What Car? judging panel once again

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles have retained the Volkswagen Amarok title in being the "Best Pick-up Truck" at the What Car? Awards 2020. The winning model is the entry-level variant, costing just £28,600 (RRP ex VAT & OTR costs). As well as the 204ps engine, a 258ps is also available with the Highline trim alongside the new Amarok Black Edition and Amarok Aventura Black Edition models launched in 2019. The latest 2019 models hold extra equipment and styling features.

Editor of What Car? Steve Huntingford said: "Just because a pick-up truck is expected to lead a hard-working life, that doesn't mean quality in other areas must be compromised, and the Volkswagen Amarok presents the most compelling all-round package in the class."

Commenting on the win, Director of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles said: "Amarok sales in the UK increased in 2019, showing our versatile 4x4 remains popular with buyers looking for a workhorse that also has good on-road manners."

The Volkswagen Amarok is available across all Breeze Van Centres in Southampton and Portsmouth, Hampshire as well as Poole, Dorset, available for factory order until mid-February. We also have a range of Approved Used Amarok across our sites, so give us a call if you're interested:
