The VW ID.4 conquers family life your way with the option of a 52kWh or 77kWh battery and front-wheel drive or 4MOTION. Up to 223 miles of range is possible with the standard battery and 328 miles with the big battery, while the Pro Performance 4MOTION offers up to 317 miles. There’s also a super high-performance variant called the ID.4 GTX with 299PS and 308-miles. All this is wrapped up in a striking body with muscular body lines and striking details like a bi-tone black roof and LED headlights. You can charge at speeds up to 110KW to top up the battery from 20-80% in around 30 minutes. 52kWh powertrains include Pure (148PS) and Pure Performance (170PS) while 77kWh powertrains include Pro (174PS) and Pro Performance (265PS) with Pro Performance offered with 4MOTION. Trims include Life Edition, Style Edition, GTX, and GTX Max. Life Edition has Wireless App-Connect, heated front seats, ArtVelours upholstery, a rear camera, ACC, lane assist, and dynamic road sign display. Style adds a panoramic roof, keyless entry & start, and matrix LED headlights. GTX boasts 20” alloys, Discover Max 12” navigation, and an AR head-up display. GTX Max boasts Area View and a hands-free tailgate.

Design

Beautifully aerodynamic, the ID.4 cuts a confident figure with a black bi-tone roof and striking alloy wheels up to 20”. Matrix LED headlights are standard from Style Edition, with this model also getting a glass panoramic roof.

Drive

Instant power and torque and driver profile selection ensure you can get the most out of every journey. Front and rear parking sensors, a parking camera, and adaptive cruise control are standard features to make driving easy.

Practicality

All versions have a climate windscreen and an onboard charger for 7.2kW single-phase charging and 11kW three-phase charging. The boot capacity is 543-litres, with space for the charging cables underneath the boot floor.

Living with it

With e-Sim card for online connectivity, Wireless App Connect, wireless smartphone charging and 10” Discover Pro navigation, the ID.4 keeps you fully connected. GTX models get an augmented reality head-up display and 12” navigation.
