Motability is a registered charity, which helps disabled people and their families become mobile with the aid of cars.

Eligibility
To be eligible for a car through the motability scheme, you must be in receipt of the following:
- A higher rate component of the Disability Allowance (DLA)
- A War Pensioners Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
- Either of these allowances can be used towards the cost of a motability vehicle
- Non drivers and children, travelling as passengers are also eligible for a vehicle. They too need to be in receipt of one of the allowances above.
